Driven to offer the most precise, timely, and cost-effective results possible, Rod invests in advanced technology and has travelled to the Netherlands for additional training with the world’s largest hydraulic specialists.
Stu Moore is a highly experienced Licensed Building Practitioner and Platinum Certified Builder. His knowledge, skillset, and experience were instrumental to House Lifters becoming the only New Zealand company to provide an end to end lifting, shifting and levelling service.
Following a career in residential and commercial construction projects (including the Christchurch International Airport), Stu partnered with Rod Moore to form House Lifters, in response to the Canterbury earthquakes.
Wei provides strategic advice in marketing development, construction management and engineering consultancies. His work spans technical engineering, and business development – building relationships with key customers and local governments.
Wei’s career in construction management and infrastructure development has included the sign-off of over 20 large-scale construction and infrastructure projects.
Educated with a BSc, ME (Civil), CEng (UK), MICE, CPEng (NZ), RIPNZ, and IntPEng, Barry Knowles matches his extensive training with considerable experience.
Following the Canterbury earthquakes, Barry joined the House Lifters team where he designs lifting equipment and approves lift and slide setups. He also applies his skillset to the provision of jacking equipment for heavy structures and supervises lifts to ensure success.
After a successful career applying her BTchLn to shape New Zealand’s young minds, Malina joined the House Lifters team in 2016. Excited to tackle a new challenge, she learnt the lifting and levelling industry from the ground up.
Malina contributes significantly to the back-office management of the business. Her commitment and drive are integral to the continued success and growth of House Lifters.
A heavy construction specialist, George has coordinated crane activity and supervised concrete panel placement for many large-scale construction projects across Canterbury. Equally proficient in foundation excavation and construction, George contributes a wealth of experience to the House Lifters team.
George oversees high lifts, sliding, re-levelling, and underpinning. He strives for perfection and sets exceptional standards for his team – a team that he regards as the industry’s best.
With a BSc in Civil Engineering and a Master of Business Administration, Rufino was a civil engineer in the Philippines before relocating to New Zealand. He is experienced in providing technical assistance to architects and primary contractors, for job site inspections, cost estimates and the tendering of bids.
Rufino is a hardworking, committed House Lifters team member who specialises in our South Island quantity surveying and material cost estimation.
Jerico’s role includes estimating and managing project costs: from feasibility stage, through to completion. His passion for engineering, science and mathematics is the perfect combination for calculating budgets, preparing detailed estimates (e.g. material, labour, services) and contributing to House Lifters completing projects on time and within budget.
Jerico has a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Civil/Structural engineering, from the University of Auckland – where his research included seismic engineering for buildings – re: predicting the impact of earthquakes, using ‘hysteretic energy’.
Mojde relocated to Christchurch in 2015 to study for a GradDip in Accounting to support her BAcc. She then gained experience at several firms including PKF Goldsmith Fox, and McKellar McCallum & Co before joining the House Lifters team.
Mojde’s energetic and self-motivated work ethic keeps the House Lifters office buzzing. She also oversees the financial accounts to ensure the back end of every job runs smoothly.
Ying has a BEng, Master of Professional Accountancy and Finance, and 12 years of previous high-performance experience, as a sales manager at Vallourec S.A. She contributes cross-functional experience in business development and corporate finance management to the House Lifters team.
Ying’s broad skillset in the management of sales and finance supports House Lifters in maintaining its position as the leading New Zealand property solutions company.
