Our resources include an in-house Engineering team, Registered Engineers, Licensed and Certified Builders, Designers, construction industry professionals and a vast network of trusted tradespeople for repairs and rebuilds.
Being based in Auckland, House Lifters has seen first-hand and in some cases, personally experienced flooding at their homes, from Auckland floods in January and February 2023.
Protecting At-Risk Properties
House Lifters helps protect flood-prone or at-risk properties, in inland and coastal areas vulnerable to flooding and/or rising sea levels.
Sea levels are expected to continue to rise at an increased rate. Globally, this could potentially affect hundreds of millions of people living in low-lying coastal areas (less than 10 metres above sea level), and the majority of the world’s largest cities.
Christchurch Earthquake Repairs
From originally being based in Christchurch, some of our team experienced life during and after the devastating Canterbury earthquakes.
Deeply affected by how people and their homes were impacted, Rod Moore and Stuart Moore formed House Lifters’ Response team.
House Lifters helped hundreds of families and businesses repair and return to their properties, and are proud to have also saved many Heritage buildings from demolition. Our work for the Canterbury rebuild continues.
